Mindfulness is a rich complement to traditional medicine and at the core, is the process of going from “doing and thinking” mode to “being and feeling” mode.
While I did not go about this perfectly by any means, I was able to maintain more stability in the moment, without letting it completely overpower me.
It’s empowering and magical doing things that are difficult, even if I fall on my face or look silly to others in the process.
